About Us
From humble beginnings in 1991 to the multidisciplinary landscaping service we offer today, Atlantes Landscapes has come a long way over the past 30 years.
Our Founder
Paul Bentley started his landscape career in 1982 and trained at many colleges including Merrist Wood in Guildford. He then went on to launch our company, then called The Landscape Gardener, back in the early 90s when he was still working for his local fire service. With years of landscape design training under his belt, the reputation of Paul and his team quickly grew, thanks to his innovative approach to garden design, the superior workmanship of his landscapers and the exceptional level of customer service offered to clients.
Paul trained for three years at Merrist Wood Horticultural College, studying Landscape Horticulture and Landscape Practices, and passing with Distinction. He also trained for one year at Brinsbury College where he gained a NVQ3 in Arboriculture, and another year at The Garden Design School, where he passed his Diploma in Garden Design with Credit, AQF L3 in Horticulture and Landscape Practices and NVQ L7 in Senior Site Management.

All our designers have a Garden Design Diploma as a minimum, and all our landscapers are professionals trained to high industry standards.
