The surface is created by laying beautiful natural stone on top of a sturdy tarmac or concrete layer, and bonding it tightly in place with resin to prevent scattering. This gives the dual benefit of a tough, strong base layer along with the elegance of the natural stone layer which resembles the textured beauty of gravel.
Resin Bonded Driveways and Paths in Exeter
There is a slight difference between the two options, which are:
- Resin-bound surfaces: The resin is laid on top of the prepared surface, and then the natural stone is scattered on top where it is held in place by the resin layer.
- Resin-bonded surfaces: The stone is mixed with the resin, before being evenly spread over the prepared surface. This technique allows for inclusion of patterns, company names or school emblems, making it a great choice for commercial applications.
